A delightful meal at the new shop of Yi Pin Prawn! Can’t seem to find something similar in HK! I’ve tried this place when they were in Fortress Hill last year, and recently I found out they relocated to a bigger shop in TST. The tables spacing is comfortable. The menu has a LOT more options with not just prawn, but Hot Pot as well!Salted duck egg yolk prawn Loves its presentation in a golden plating, the taste is O..M..G!! Hot Pot
The server told us they just launched Hot Pot this week so we gave it a try. We picked the classic hot and spicy soup base and ordered different type of beef. The duck blood in the soup base is so authentic, just like the ones I had in Taiwan! It’s so smooth and chewy! The soup base was rich, not too salty or spicy.
The beef was exceptional quality, so tender and rich in flavor.
They also have the water snowflake vegetable which I can rarely find in HK, I would highly recommend this!
An exceptional Taiwanese cuisine definitely worth a special journey.
