Our second dessert stop of the night, we decided on two items that would not be too filling. Apple Crumble with ice creamI really like the portion sizes here. They are small, perfect to satisfy a sweet craving without stuffing yourself. There was plenty of crumble but lacked the buttery flavour I am used to in crumbles. There was a thin layer of apples, which could have been more generous, I like the ratio of my apple crumbles 1:1 apple to crumble. Nonetheless, not bad at all. The crumble layer

The crumble layer was not sweet and so the ice cream helped a lot. Ice cream was not the real vanilla bean variety, but was all right in quality.
Hokkaido milk souffle
This is a relatively new item, as from previous visits I haven't seen this offering, but am surprised that they have not updated their menu to read 'spring' or 'summer' but 'winter'.
The souffle was huge in size, but as it is light it is not hard to finish. It had a good balance of sweetness and a hint of milkiness but as strong as I thought it would be - after all it is called 'hokkaido milk souffle'. The dessert was also nicely done and well-cooked - did not look like the usual flat top, but this one looked like a massive cloud!
From previous experience, I would say their 'western' desserts are much better than the chinese varieties (sweet soup, taiwanese snowflake ice etc)
