小茶堂 (English name: TeaDays) is a local take away bubble tea shop. Unlike the others that hail from Taiwan, this is from Hong Kong with imported ingredients from Taiwan.
Menu is in English and Chinese. It's purely a take away only establishment. Unlike some of the recent popular places, this one lets you adjust the sugar and ice content.
I ordered the honey milk tea ($23) and added pearls ($4) (on the left) and boyfriend ordered the taro fresh milk ($29) (on the right). Originally he wanted purple sweet potato but they had run out. It's nice this place has an option to use honey instead of regular sugar. They even give you this option to replace any item with honey for $4. I like honey with tea as I think it is a bit more healthier. My drink had the right amount of sweetness and the boba was soft yet not mushy. It was pretty good. Boyfriend's taro fresh milk was packed with a lot of taro bits. The taro was completely blended into the milk. He was impressed as this is his preferred drink at 天仁茗茶 (Tenren) and he said this was a lot more packed taro than that place. And he was not impressed with 迷客夏 (Milksha) as they didn't blend the milk with the taro at all. But here? They really blended it all together. Now he wished they didn't run out of the purple sweet potato.
Price was not expensive at all as most places now charge around $40 a cup. Taste was good and they are not stingy with the ingredients. A great option for a take away drink in Mong Kok.
