This sen-ryo is different from the others in that they don't offer any lunch sets. Service is consistently bad for the three or four times I've been there in the past three months. During busy lunch hours, the tables are merely wiped by a cloth that is probably dirtier than what it's trying to clean; once I was seated at a table that was so terribly underprepared that there were bits of rice and fish under my plate. Food is reasonably well-prepared, much as you'd expect from a sushi chain. You can always order à la carte for crispy nori or fresher sushis in general. During both lunch and dinner hours the kitchen is efficient at preparing made-to-order dishes. I guess if you can put up with rude staff and potentially shocking service, this is still an OK choice for quick sushi at the IFC. But I might give the sen-ryo near LKF a try next time to see if they treat their customers better.
