Thai Special Restaurant is a Thai restaurant we walk by a lot whenever we're in the Tsuen Wan area. But on this evening we noticed a VERY long line of people. I don't ever recall it being this popular.Upon closer inspection, it appeared they had switched to the popular 2 Dishes 1 Rice takeaway trend.Menu is all in Chinese but basically two dishes costs $33 and so on. As it's take away, there is no 10% service charge. We decided to get two boxes.I had three dishes ($36) as the stir fry rice noodle

We decided to get two boxes.
I had three dishes ($36) as the stir fry rice noodles is considered a dish. The other items were deep fried chicken thigh and salt and pepper deep fried tofu. Fairly decent and everything was well seasoned. The tofu was also still crisp by the time I got this home. The chicken steak was tender.
Boyfriend had two dishes with rice ($33). For the dishes, he chose egg curry and spicy eggplant. And it was spicy. The curry was very spicy and rich in flavour.
It didn't look too pretty but food was quite decent tasting. A Thai version was definitely different and quite good. No wonder there was a long line of people.
