I'm a portuguese trainee in Hong Kong since January and I'll stay here until July. Although Hong Kong is a place with all the different types of restaurants, with food from the whole world, sometimes I feel homesick, one of the things that I miss the most is the food.A friend of mine told me about Nino's Cozinha Restaurant & Bar. A friend of mine told me about Nino's Cozinha Restaurant & Bar. I went there and it was great because all the things I've tried made me feel like home.
For startes I orded the Sardines Pate and the Clams with white wine, it made me feel just like summer, so fresh and tasty.
The main courses we ordered were the meatballs and the Bacalhau à Braz (Codfish). The meatballs tasted just like my mom's meat balls, with the right balance between the garlic and olive oil and the tomato sauce. The Codfish was also really tasty.
The desserts were amazing, fine Serradura and good sweet rice. But I cannot stop thinking about the Portuguese Cheesecake, which is really original dessert cause uses my favorite kind of cheese (Queijo da Serra). I really recommend this place, where you can have a nice and pleasant meal, have some portuguese wine, while you're listening to some fine portuguese music.
