Each day, Cafe de Coral has various afternoon tea deals but there is one that is focused for extra value. The new JP Plaza has reopened with a food court area and Cafe de Coral is in the center of it. As I had a $3 coupon, I decided to use it during afternoon tea time. Menu is in English and Chinese. It's fast food so you order at the cashier and wait to pick up your order.For $27, you get a bowl of udon, a deep fried piece of chicken and a drink.The udon was a decent enough size for tea time. T

The udon was a decent enough size for tea time. The udon was springy enough. But it had some odd spicy miso on top. I wasn't sure what that was and really didn't like it.
The chicken steak didn't fare as well. It was super oily. So oily it was dripping in fat. Other than that, it was seasoned well and the meat was tender.
Though not great, it was cheap enough for me to forgive. But if they offer this again, I think I'll skip.
