Apart from the one in Taiwan, the only Hikiniku To Come outside of Japan is at ifc.From the 3 recommended styles of eating the 3 pieces of burgers, I find the second one the best: To be eaten together with the Yuzu-flavoured vinegar mixed with minced turnip fleshly chopped every morning. Out of the 5 condiments, I like the 青唐辛子鹽漬檸檬the best, as it’s savoury yet refreshing and slightly hot.I also like their kimchi. The ventilation of the restaurant was very well done. There’s only a very light tint of cooking smell on my hair and clothing when I left the restaurant, which was gone within 15-30 minutes.
Some tips for putting the raw egg on top of the patty from my experience and my friends:
- Create a dent on top of the beef patty
- Leave the least amount of egg white on the egg yolk
- In case the egg yolk fell to the rice, let it settle for a bit, until a very fine film/membrane appears, which protects it from breaking. Then can use the chopsticks to softly put back the egg yolk on top of the beef patty.
