I arrived at the shop at around 1 pm and was pleased to only wait for 10 minutes for a table. The shop was cozy and could accommodate about 20 people. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a classic Japanese ramen shop, complete with wooden furniture and minimalistic décor.
Now, onto the food. The Lemon Ramen was an interesting twist on the classic dish, and I was pleased to find actual lemon slices in the bowl. The soup was light and refreshing, with a tangy kick from the lemon. The broth was not too salty and had a well-balanced flavor.
The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of firmness and elasticity. I was impressed with the quality of the noodles, as they held up well in the broth and did not become overly soggy.
The pan-fried dumplings were also delicious, with a crispy exterior and juicy filling. They were a great accompaniment to the ramen.
Overall, I would highly recommend this Japanese ramen shop in Wan Chai. The Lemon Ramen was a unique and flavorful dish, and the atmosphere of the shop was cozy and welcoming.
