The food was quite ok, but the attitude of the boss was way too rude!!!!!! This is the worst service I have ever seen in my whole life!!!! The boss is a horrible guy!!!!My friends and I came to this restaurant at about 10pm. We did not order much food as we all had eaten full afternoon tea. This is the worst service I have ever seen in my whole life!!!! The boss is a horrible guy!!!!
My friends and I came to this restaurant at about 10pm. We did not order much food as we all had eaten full afternoon tea.
The story was that when we were about to leave and payed the bill, we just found out that we were over-charged. We asked for the reason, and the boss came to our table, and said that one of us brought a bottle of drink here, they charged us a penalty-fee about 30 dollars. The friend who asked him couldn't speak perfect English, and the boss's facial expression was like talking to some barbarians and he became so mad!!!! He even asked us never come back to this restaurant again, his face was telling us that they only serve "quality-people".
I don't really understand why he was that mad and kept saying never tried to cheat on him. IF HE TOLD US POLITELY, we would be more than happy to pay the fee. When we just wanted to make the bill clear, is it necessary to be that rude? When we knew the reason, we paid the charge, the service charge and even paid the extra tip. Honestly we didn't MIND to pay more, but why he needed to treat us like that and left us with embarrassment?!!!!!! WE DID PAYED!!!!!!!
If you really want to serve some quality people, why don't you just post a poster on the door saying "fluent English speaker only"!!!!!!!! (though I can speak English fluently lol)
When I was having the meal, I planned to invite my Taiwanese friends to have a good Japanese meal here. And thanks the boss, I need to reconsider a good restaurant now. Shame on that boss!!!!!
And if the boss has any chances to read this post, I really want to tell you that in London or South West England, when the boss of the restaurant does not welcome some customers, he simply just asked them to leave and it is like kind of culture that we just fee you the meal because it is the compensate that the restaurant doesn't want to serve you anymore. AND I REALLY WANT TO TELL YOU THAT IT IS US THAT CHOOSING NOT TO COME TO THIS RESTAURANT ANYMORE!!!!
FYI, I have worked in plenty of good restaurants in the UK for few years, including Michelin Stared restaurant. And the only thing I can say is that this restaurant is way toooooo far to be one of the best restaurant in CWB in terms of their service, not to mention to be the recommended restaurants in Hong Kong.
I am so regret that I did not argue back as it is so shocking that people can be that MEAN.
