I'm very picky about my Froyo.D and I decided to grab a cup after dinner for dessert. I'd never had Crumbs before. I was full. But I decided it was totally worth it. What's so good about crumbs? Long queue = good quality. nuff said!
Value for money
As good as Holly Cow (TST east). I used to think that Holly Cow served the BEST value-for-money froyo, but now I've found a competitor! Healthy competition is good. Hope both joints keep on improving You can't believe how outrageous some froyo stores are - charging you $30 for a MINI moo and 2 toppings....@@ (Milky Cow) unbelievable.
Generous toppings:
Yep. Just get one and see for yourself. Blueberries were fat, plump and juicy. Crumbs were plentiful. I wouldn't have managed to finish one LARGE by myself.
What wasn't as good as I'd expected?
House crumbs
Maybe my expectations were too high. House crumbs are good, they're innovative, but it's too oily for a topping! I'm sure they ground Digestive biscuits/mcVites and then added in a lot of butter and something coconutty (coconut splinters?), baked it, and viola. A very buttery topping. Yes it tastes quite yummy but next time i'm probably going for granola. Would appreciate it if they weren't as buttery.
Conclusion:
No kidding, man. I'm definitely coming back!
