Recently came to this cafe twice coz I thought the cats were super adorable and had to bring different sets of friends to check 'em out.On both occasions, we had to order at least one drink per person (that's the minimum charge) and we also wanted to try food. Honestly there is no expectation re: food quality in this type of venue. The primary selling point is the furry friends. Some of them are quite friendly and play with customers. Some are lazy and just want to zzzz. My friends and I ordered

My friends and I ordered the iced fruit tea, iced milk tea, and hot ginger tea which were all quite nice. We liked that they didn't over-sweeten the drinks. I personally like the fruit tea. For $68, it came in a good size jug and what a refreshment it was on a hot summer day. We also tasted the spaghetti dishes and cold udon - they were both ok. Nothing special to report. We weren't there for the food.
But I do want to write this review hoping the owners can consider improving based on these observations:
1) Food gets spoiled easily in this weather so I wasn't too thrilled to see the pasta containers just sitting on the counter.
2) Even the containers had plastic wrap on them, I noticed they were not covered entirely. What's the problem? The cats! There is one particular black and white cat who likes to hang out by the front door/kitchen area. He walks around on the counter where the food is placed. Cat hair alert!
3) The girls working in the kitchen - I saw them holding and petting cats and using their phones while they were waiting for the chicken wings to heat up. When the food was ready, they did not wash hands nor put on gloves.
I will go back to play with the kitties but based on what I saw, I most likely will order only drinks next time. This 🐱 cafe has potential... the owners just need to pay some extra care on food safety.
