I love tomato soup. Mixed with macaroni, it was something I remembered my mother made me when I wasn't feeling well. It's one of my favorite items to order when in a cha chan teng. But there are many places where the tomato based broth is watered down and just some red colored water.Taiyo Tomato Ramen is from Japan. What they specialize in is tomato based soup broth ramen. Menu is in English and Chinese. They also have rice if you want. But I suggest you go with what their original Japanese shop is popular for. Ramen.
I ordered the original tomato ramen ($68). It included some bok choy and slices of chicken breast. The meat was a bit dry and flavorless. The ramen was ok but a bit on the overcooked side. But the star of the show was the tomato broth. It was rich with tomato taste and quite thick. Definitely the soup was pretty good. But the noodles itself was not enough for me to want to return again.
