Was walking towards Times Square and thinking what to eat for lunch and something from across the street caught our eyes. A NEW restaurant! Toronto's well-know PHO METRO is in HK!!!!! The word Pho is in script font and METRO is bold. The shop is black in color with white wordings and big clear windows. Simple and clean design. The grilled beef was served separately from the vermicelli. Huge portion of beef and vermicelli. I like it that the grilled beef is served separately from the vermicelli....the beef won't be soggy and the sauce will not be mixed with the soup. Strong beef flavor, it is juicy and tender....thumbs up . The soup have a strong beef taste and it didn't dried up my mouth. Vermicelli is soft and smooth. If a restaurant uses fresh ingredients, I do not think they need to use MSG to "bring out" the flavor.

I like how the sauce is served separately. Lots of places pour the sauce onto the rice, making it soggy and salty. Served separately allow customer to decide how much sauce they want to use. The sunny egg was nicely done, the yolk is runny. Pork have a grilled taste, meat is tender and juicy.
