Totally disappointed - bad service

I have been a fan of this restaurant since i first tried in soho few years ago. Hapened to move in this area which the restaurant has its branch so I tried out several times. But each and every time, it disappoints me with its weird service. Everything’s alright until the waitress asked if we want drinks. I said no, tap water is fine. I have been a fan of this restaurant since i first tried in soho few years ago. Hapened to move in this area which the restaurant has its branch so I tried out several times. But each and every time, it disappoints me with its weird service. Everything’s alright until the waitress asked if we want drinks. I said no, tap water is fine. And she stressed that their tap water is only for washing hands in a blunt and offensive way. Alright, so what’s the rule it’s trying to play in this store. If you don’t have tap water to serve, just say you dont have and ask us to choose from drinks menu. But every time, they try to guards up and ensure we know their tap water not for drink but washing hands only and follow with the question “do you still want it?”. What is this gesture? Querying if we want to drink in the bacteria? Daring customers?

So we ended up saying “alright, we will get a drink or forced to get their mineral water with that price / insist on drinking that tap water they threaten us not to drink. I mean either way would a customer ever feel being served?
Instead humiliated and upset. The food went normal. But I have reinforce with this comment that never ever would I recommend or revisit this shop anymore. Worst experience I could ever have with a restaurant.
