Came to Fanlin this evening to visit some friends, decided to go out for dinner as there's really nothing to cook at home.We found CookHouse on the way to our original destination, and we decided to give it a try!Comparing to other restaurants, they have a more welcoming lighting, doesnt have the pressure of having to hold our voice down. We than have lobsters bisque, with lobsters for real! The taste is a little bit too thick for me tho. For main dish, we (4 guys)have to order steaks! We went with the owner's recommendation, and unfortunately I didn't not find out the name. This steak is top tier stuff I am telling you. Firstly it's 2KG, right enough to feed is all. Secondly, the medium rare was very on point, I'm more impress about the surface of the steak tho, it has a smokely favour i have not tasted other steak like this elsewhere. HKD $888 well worth in my opinion. Waited for a while for it tho.
We feel like having a little more, therefore we ordered risotto as well. It's not big, but as it's quite creamy it very filling as well. We had deserts as well, but forgot to took photos of them. They were lemon sorbet & peach Ice cream.
The final bill was around HKD $350 per head. Really good value.
