Jacky's kitchen chef has worked in the Peninsula Hotel in the past and I'm really curious about what would be offered. There are a la carte menu and 5-course set menu. Choices are vast ranging from steak to fish and lobster. It's reasonably priced with the portion offered.First up was the garlic bread with homemade foie gras pate. First up was the garlic bread with homemade foie gras pate. Bread was warmly toasted and pate tasted rich.
The foie gras skin was really crispy and it melted in my mouth. It's such a good start to the meal. The lobster bisque was pretty nice but lacked a bit richness. The escargots tasted rich with a bouncy texture.
The lamb rack was cooked to perfection. Look at the pink flesh! It tasted rich and succulent without a hint of gaminess.
To end the meal, I ordered the Oreo soufflé which was amazing as it was light and fluffy.張貼
