1. the manager tried to back out of the etigo offer by saying the cheapest menu choice bronze-fish set is not entitled to 10% off. Luckily I had a screen shot from the app with the 10% discount on bronze-fish set 90min. After realizing he couldn't win because we have solid evidence, the manager sent the server to say certain seafood items cannot be selected with that set. (strangely, all the "expensive" ones!) and we had to show that the menu did not mention this restriction. 2. The proportion i
2. The proportion is also weird ( or removed some since we insisted on discount?) we had 5 persons but 9 prawns and 17 clams. That makes 3.4 clams and 1.8 prawns if I dined alone?
3. When i asked for water, the young server had to ask the same manager if she can served us water, and then she came back with a drinks menu to make us order drinks. We were not served water until we order 2 bottles of sugery drinks already and asked a more senior server.
4. when the bill came, they conveniently "forgot" about the 10% until we had to ask for it again, before they honour it.
This is why HK restaurants have such fast turnovers. penny wise pound foolish. Trying to have greedy gain of a few dollars with no long term loyalty or customer satisfaction. Cash ONLY
