It’s been long time haven’t had any meal in North Point, I still remember I had vegetarian food almost half year before.This is kinda remote place to me since I always eat out in the center and busy part of hk.Ms. Lo have invited me and Mrs. Ng to an interesting restaurant that offer western middle east fusion food which is quite interesting. Ms. Lo have invited me and Mrs. Ng to an interesting restaurant that offer western middle east fusion food which is quite interesting. This restaurant is hidden in a shopping mall which is full of learning center.
The restaurant is located in the end of the 1st floor and is so visible that u cannot accidently get in to another restaurant. The whole restaurant is quite big that capable for at least 40-50 people and there is a dart selection hidden from the restaurant. Interesting idea to mix with.
We all smell the new revocation from the restaurant means that this restaurant is quite new. When we open the menu, a lot of photos and dish poops out but we finally choose the set dinner menu.
The set includes bread+appetizer + daily soup+ main course + drinks with average price HKD1XX-2XX. They offer bread with a special taste sauce that is kinda like middle east twist. The appetizer is grill ox tongue, the surface is crispy with the sweet and sour sauce to drip with and some veggies in the middle, the sauce and veggie decrease the greasiness of the whole dish. Salmon fillet was good that the surface was as crisp as chips, meat is nice and firm and it doesn’t contain much fish taste that even I can handle it well(I hate cooked salmon in normal). Similar kind of side dish offer with the fish including beans and mushrooms. The mash potato was surprising good, the creamy texture and strong potato favor that create a perfect match with the fish. The salsa sauce was a good match too. For the Iberico Pork Chop with really thick and its pan fried with bacon around the sides. This was just ok since the meat was quite tough to chewy and the side dish was similar to the fish. For the handmade pasta with Mussels was ok, the pasta is kinda like shanghaiese noodle texture and is definitely different from the package pasta available in market. The pesto sauce in this dish was no bad. For the dessert session, we tried banana chocolate tart, lemon tart and rosemary crème brulee. Cream brulee was the best that smell of egg with rosemary was good, I love crunchiness of the caramel surface. Banana chocolate tart base was good but the banana was not mature enough, the whipping cream on the top melt really fast as well but the tart base with chocolate is soooo good. Was a nice try!
