Karui Bento becomes my main meal source of the day and this restaurant to me is totally a godsend. I'm a night shift person who used to worked at Shau Kei Wan and always baffled what to eat for lunch and dinner. Everything has changed until Karui Bento opened. Their meals pretty much meet the requirement of a balanced diet. The portion of the carbs and veggies is right on and I truly believe the meats they provide are high quality protein. And you can tell they use fresh ingredients and very limited salt and oil. Nothing feels greasy.
In normal work days, I buy a Teriyaki Chicken Bento and a Japanese Style Roast Pork Bento for lunch and dinner. After settling down at the office, the first thing I do is put one meal into the fridge. Then, I start having my lunch on my desk.
When it comes to dinner time, I just take my meal out and reheat it. Trust me. It tastes and smells just the same after the microwave. My colleagues are intrigued and I ended up buying meals for them as well.

I have actually tried all of their bentos including the scrambled egg with shrimp, Sichuan Mapo Tofu and beef stew with potato, as well as some of the salads. As a meatcraver, I love the chicken and pork bento the most. The food Karui Bento provide are healthy and tasty to say the least and you'll definitely find something you like here.
(P.S. I also love the cucumber soymilk)
As a consumer, it's a really good deal to get your healthy and balaced diet to ample your energy day to day. Well to me, the best part is I don't have to wash dishes. (LOL!)
