My friend and I walked by this place a few times, but all we saw was the dog so we decided to do something else and check later. Luckily, when we did come back, the old man was selling egg waffles. Again, I felt like I had invaded someone's home again since the stove was like a blockoff to the old man's home. Anyways, it looked clean but I really didn't like the fact that there was a dog near the bucket of batter. Who knows if dog hair had fallen in, you don't really have control over that. I don't think that there should be animals in areas where food is served to people. It just doesn't seem sanitary to me.
Service:Service was efficient. The old man didn't speak much and just did his own thing. It was cool that he didn't need a timer or anything. He just knew when to flip. I guess he's probably been doing it for so long that he doesn't need one.
Taste & Value:
I don't think I've ever had Egg waffle ($13) that had a such strong smell and taste of eggs before. The waffle was softer than other places but it was pretty good. However, I think it had that raw egg taste at one point so I stopped eating it. For $13, you really did get EGGS in the waffle instead of just flour! It was a good deal.
Final Verdict:This egg waffle was memorable because I never tasted one like it, but at the same time it wasn't quite my taste. I might pass on this place next time since I saw other egg waffle places so I'd like to try those instead and see how they compare.
