Unexpected POOR ServiceI travelled to Al Dente from Cheung Chau Island and it gave me an extremely poor experience, especially today is my Birthday. I am Chinese. Unexpected POOR Service
I travelled to Al Dente from Cheung Chau Island and it gave me an extremely poor experience, especially today is my Birthday.
I am Chinese. My English is not good but I do believe that at least I can understand some simple English, such as “please”, “excuse me”, and etc.
My girl friend and I arrived to in front of door of Al Dente, the waiter just pointed me to the table and went away without give us water or menu. At first, I thought he may be busy, so I asked for the menu from other waiter.
After we ordered the food, there was still no water for us until we asked for it. It was the first time I need to ask for water in Italian restaurant.
Apart from that, the waiters just put the food and/or cleaned up the table without saying a word.
If there is no introduction tell the name of what he/she just put on our table, at least say “excuse me” or “please” . It is impolite and unrespectable.
I believe that I visit a restaurant is not only enjoy the food but also the atmosphere and the service there. However, what they showed me is unrespectable.
I will never visit this restaurant after that and I hope to share this poor experience to all of you.
