Put up a high hope for this place as I heard its chef was from certain branded hotel.Went there for lunch and ordered two sets: sea bass & steak. No complimentary bread was served and so the salad was the first thing we had. The "green" was all yellowish when it reached our table and that tells how "fresh" this salad was. The dressing was the ordinary vinaigrette and boring to say the least. The salad did not ruin my mood though cause I came for nothing but the mains. My wife said they were good

My wife said they were good. There came the sea bass and the steak.
The fish was nicely presented. It sat on a bed of mashed potato covered in strawberry sauce. The mash with the sauce was delicious and refreshing. But if you thought that the fish is on par, you are very wrong indeed. The fish was so rank so that I could barely have a second bite. It was clearly unfresh, if not rotted. The steak was not much better. I ordered medium well but the middle of the meat showed red. I guess the chef was too sloppy to thaw the steak before grilling. The meat, which was claimed to be from Australia, was filled with tendon and hard to cut and chew. The grilled potatoes on the side were quite nice though. We were certainly not satisfied by the savoury dishes and so we ordered a panna cotta, hoping that the meal can have a better end. It was creamy, rich and not bad as a whole but I could tell it had stayed in the fridge for quite a while.
At such price in Central, I could have much better choices. The least acceptable to me for a restaurant is that it serve something unfresh. Glad that I only came once.
