First time at this restaurant with my boyfriend. We didn't have to wait to be seated but waited over 1 hour for our meal! To be fair the food wasn't too bad. The service was unfair though! Let me explain... We waited about 15 minutes for the pork bone and seaweed soup to be served. The soup was sweet, but not enough seaweed in the soup. Then we waited over 45 minutes for the stir-fried chilli clams. In that time we asked twice for the waitresses to chase up the orders. The second time we asked,
Let me explain... We waited about 15 minutes for the pork bone and seaweed soup to be served. The soup was sweet, but not enough seaweed in the soup. Then we waited over 45 minutes for the stir-fried chilli clams. In that time we asked twice for the waitresses to chase up the orders. The second time we asked, the waitress said they only had one chef cooking. I would have sympathised with them... but I saw one couple ordered some time after us but all their dishes (about 5 dishes) came within 15 minutes after ordering. Another couple who came about 30 minutes after us, got their food quickly too. I overheard that they are frequent diners. Apparently their first dish wasn't spicy at all, so the male customer complained (quite rudely I thought) and got their freshly cooked dish within 5 minutes.
So in order to get good and quick service here, it seems you have to be frequent diners and/or complain rudely! My boyfriend and I are well-mannered first-time customers, so we got unfair service!!! Don't worry we won't be second time customers! I can't be bothered to review the other 2 dishes... their service has rendered their dishes unworthy of my effort.
