喜來稀肉 (登龍街)

never felt more discriminated in hk before. came here becos it was highly recommended. we wanted to order some alcohol but was told the restaurant lost their alcohol license but we could pop into 7-11 nearby to grab our beers to go with our food. which is what we did. despite a beer fridge full of alcohol. then 30 mins later, a group of 4 Japanese gentlemen sat down and ordered - BEER! we queried the service staff on the contradicting information we were told but was told that becos those Japanese men ordered their beers in advance so they r serving them now. by now this is getting pretty illogical. but the service staff stuck to their story. subsequently one of the men asked for 2 sojus. that's it. we were furious and demanded an explanation. not only the manager did not come over to apologize, we had one of the service staff shared that unfortunately they picked and chose who to sell alcohol despite without a valid license. would never patronize this place. last item to add a Korean female staff just put a basket of lettuce on our tray of raw meat. unacceptable


Food quality is good, the cuts of meat are very fresh. General service is good, the staff are quite attentive.
