Several years ago I travelled to southern Spain for the first time with friends, spending time in Granada, Valencia, Seville, Barcelona and numerous other cities... I was amazed at the attention to detail, sheer beauty of the bars and restaurants and seduced by the cuisine. Since then I have lived in several Asian cities and sought out a similar experience, often failing to find authentic Spanish food in a similar environment, until this week. The interior is stunning, evoking memories of my previous trips to Spain. The attention to detail of the decor was matched throughout the evening... friendly atmosphere, delicious and refreshing Sangria (not too sweet as is often the case) and a menu to die for. My companion and I got a little carried away and tried several dishes, our favourites being the incredible chorizo (I have never tasted it this good outside of Spain), duck tacos, calamari... the new Mexican inspired Ceviche (Courtesy of the Mexican chef) brings an element of creative street - style food to the menu... I'd never quite tasted anything like this is my life before - an amazing contrast between the fresh lime marinated sole and crispy fried squid on top... simply delicious! And as if that was not enough, my partner spotted the Chocolate cun Churos on the menu which evoked memories of early morning adventures in Barcelona after a heady night out... a perfect way to end the evening.
Simple fact is if you are looking for something different, authentic and unique in the mid levels, this is the place to be - either for drinks after work (cheap drinks and free nibbles apparently) or for dinner... if I lived in HK this would be on my list for a regular visit. Can't wait until I come back again.

Highly recommended... after the meal we felt as if we had experienced something very unique and were very well taken care of throughout the evening by the attentive and knowledgeable staff. Gracias Bocadito!
