I finally made it to Coco Espresso today. I've heard great things about their coffee so I've been eager to pay them a visit. Environment & Hygiene:
I went with my friend at about 3 in the afternoon and surprisingly they weren't busy at all. No more than 10 people could fit in there at a time, but it had a comfy environment and it also seemd really clean; everything was spotless. Anyways, we took a seat and ordered. While waiting for the drinks, I took time to admire the decor. I tend to like darker decor so although there wasn't much decoration inside, I really appreciated the grey walls with the wooden tables and the coffee products that were displayed neatly above.
The staff there were really friendly and polite. They greeted us when we went in, and acknowledged us when we ordered. The barista also handed the drinks to me with 2 hands. Just saying, no one seems to remember that you're supposed to pass/give things to people with 2 hands to show politeness. When we left, they thanked us with a smile. Excellent service.
Taste & Value:
My buddy ordered a Doppio Ristretto Flat White ($38),whereas I had a regular latte ($34). I had a sip of my friend's before I had mine. Hers was a lot more rich and obviously it had a stronger taste of coffee. I liked it. Although mine was a bit bitter, it wasn't bad too. I should have asked what kind of coffee beans they use because I thought that it had a really unique taste that might have been floral. Both drinks were reasonable I think, since for such high quality, both of them were under $40.
Yes, I will go back for the wonderful coffee and great service.
