I had some great lunch special of Sting Hooper Kotthu (veg) with soup and drink. The soup was good, but didn't seem particularly Sri Lankan to me. The main course was nothing I had I ever tried before so wasn't sure what to expect. But it was noodles mixed with chopped veg, egg and cheese. The egg and cheese flavor was the most evident and made it feel substantial. Also my whole family (6 people) went 2 weeks previous to this and wasn't sure what to order. So the staff were happy bring
Also my whole family (6 people) went 2 weeks previous to this and wasn't sure what to order. So the staff were happy bring out a selection of dishes from across the menu for us to try. The noodles went over really well, and the samosa were lovely - not too spicy or oils and very flavorful. The variety was great for those who had not tried Sri Lankan before. The service is great and staff are happy to describe and suggest dishes.
It is also beautiful inside, with a high roofed wood lined ceiling. the interior is not expected as it is in a normal size New Territories house, but feels much bigger.
