I love anything that is from UK and the USA so when I found out that Uniboil was from the US I had to try it out.Just like UK and the West, there are standards like FDA, food hygiene etc so you can eat with confidence unlike local Cantonese crap.The beef they serve is Certified angus beef and the pork is US Berkshire pork.There is a good variety of pots on the menu and I like the way it is clearly labelled to show the ingredients in the pot, however the menu is slightly different to the US.If yo

There is a good variety of pots on the menu and I like the way it is clearly labelled to show the ingredients in the pot, however the menu is slightly different to the US.

[I am not sure if they have an English menu because I didn't ask]

Ordered the Korean beef ribs and the Spicy pork knuckle in Spicy Sichuan soup.
Korean beef ribs:

The beef was surprisingly good because it was more like soft beef brisket than beef rib and the soup was sweet.

There were chunks of delicious soft carrot which were sweet and flavoured by the broth.

I also dipped the beef and carrots in the Sichuan pot and that made it even more delicious because it was sweet with a hint of Sichuan flavouring.

As for the Spicy pork knuckle pot, it had balls and pork knuckles.

I loved the broth because it wasn't spicy but the numbing flavour was strong.

They were both so good that extra rice was needed.
