Tempura has always been one of my favorite - acually i love all nearly all kinds of Japanese food.This seems to be one of the best tempura restaurant in town, it is nicely decorated in a hotel setting. Came for lunch on a sunny saturday, while the place is barely occupied, with only 3 guest including the two of us seated in the tempura table. Both of us order a sushi tempura set -The set includes quite a lot of food, we were first served with a refreshing salad.Tempura was serve piece by piece -

Tempura was serve piece by piece - we were first served with 2 pcs of shrimp. (not very big in size- around finger size , while it was quite crispy. ) then we were serve with a piece of Ika (cuttlefish / octopus) taste pretty good, 1 pcs of each sweet potato and pumpkin tempura which both of us dosen't like much, lastly serve with a 蝦餅
Five Pcs Sushi Set include Tuna, Sweet Shrimp, Salmon and two types that i can't recall- the taste and look of it are satisfactory.
As for dessert - a fruit platterr is served
Overall the taste of tempura is quite nice, you also get 15% discount for HSBC Platinum card. However, it has come to my attention that the staff are more keen on serving Japanese client. as the guy sitting in the same tempura table order exactly the same set but were serve more items (Eg. Steam egg, Tempura Fish) and the Japanese Head chef made the tempura for the Jap client whereus our order was passed to a local guy,,,,,,,although i was already very full and satisfied with my set, i would like to be treated equally,....
Overall, this is worth trying as it represent quite good value for money (HKD 210) nice food & deco. but staff needs more training, hate to see their pigeon eyes
