Waking up with the crave of peanut butter spread on cripsy bun, I decided to spend my breakfast at Sam Sam Canteen.We ordered fermented vegetables with vegan meat vermicelli served with two sunny eggs and peanut butter crispy bun and satay beef noodle served with a hamburger, a sunny egg and peanut butter condensed milk crispy bun. Their unique vegan fermented vegetables meat base would never disappoint you. Tender vegan meat stir fried with the fermented vegetables which made the whole toppings

Their unique vegan fermented vegetables meat base would never disappoint you. Tender vegan meat stir fried with the fermented vegetables which made the whole toppings more flavourful. Vermicelli wasn't the typical ones that all cha chaan ting served but in a Taiwanese type. Chewy and more transparent. Sunny eggs were cooked perfectly. Crispy bun was spread with a generous amount of crunchy peanut butter. Very satisfying.
Satay beef was alright, unlike those with thick satay sauce. Just a hint of satay flavour. Beef was again alright, not chewy but didn't absorb the flavour. Noodle was overcooked that it was soggy. Hamburger was nice. Panfried to give a slight crispy side and not salty at all. Peanut butter condensed milk bun was again spread in generous amount. Perfect for peanut butter lover.
For coffee lover, here served pretty good cha chaan ting coffee to start your day.
Staff attitude this time improved. Polite and welcoming. Efficient in cleaning and helpful.
All in all, a better experience.
