Enjoyed this Indian style vegan brunch with generous food including sharing starters and unlimited dosa. The restaurant is unexpectedly quiet during weekend, so we had almost the entire space for ourselves. 5 Sharing plates:Idli with sambhar pickle stew, Sweet potato fries with truffle mayo, Pani puri, Chickpea and Jerusalem Artichoke hummus, Caesar SaladThe sambhar pickle stew is similar to a curry, just looser but has complex flavors, a balance of spicy, tangy and sweetness. The sambhar pickle stew is similar to a curry, just looser but has complex flavors, a balance of spicy, tangy and sweetness. But personally not a fan of the idli which is a rice cake but very dense to me. Sweet potato fries is MVP, freshly fried crispy with loads of seasoning, paired with truffle mayo is a winner. Also love their hummus.
Unlimited dosas with below fillings which are gluten-free and served with coconut chutney and sambhar pickle stew.
▫️Grilled mushrooms with spinach
▫️Avacado, Feta and rocket salad
▫️Spicy eggplant masala with screambled tofu
▫️Green pesto and minced paneer cheese
Each dosa is served with the same condiment, the coconut chutney is absolutely delicious, I can eat that on its own. The sambhar stew is a repeat to the earlier dish (quite cost efficient for the kitchen..😅)
Brunch offers unlimited dosas, of course we sample all types, I don’t think anyone can order anything further after 4 huge dosas 😂 They are like giant pancakes with different savory fillings. We like the avocado salad the most, and the bold pungent spicy eggplant is very good too. Dosas are crispy on the edges with slight chew, served hot which is excellent.
Desserts include vegan matcha red bean cake which rather dry and forgettable. Lime sorbet is quite sweet, would’ve preferred more lime zesty flavor, but this is definitely icy and refreshing.
