One of my friends kept saying good things about this place and so we went there for dinner on the 20th February.It was a total disappointment.This is the type of so-called Japanese restaurant that is owned and run by some Hong Kong businessman -- so much for authenticity!The decor of this establishment is very much "bourgeois", and sad to say, at its worst. The quality of the food reminds me of 魚一丁(Iccho), and I meant that as a compliment!!!The price, well, let just say the owner thought he's r

The price, well, let just say the owner thought he's running something like Hiro or Ten-Jaku (keep on dreamin')...of course all the dishes were overpriced!!
In the end we were charged with HKD 3,000.00 worth of blandness.
* * * * * * * * *
Some of the dishes we ordered happened to be:
SHIMA AJI SASHIMI...NOT FRESH
BOTAN SHRIMP...BLAND/ NOT FRESH
MIRUGAI...CHOPPED INTO PILL-SIZE BITS
TORIGAI...CHOPPED INTO FINGERNAIL SIZE BITS
GRILLED STEAK...TASTELESS BEEF with LOUSY SAUCE
SAKE...WATERED-DOWN & CHEAP
And the service was...CHAOTIC! The manager has no idea of the kinds of the food he's serving. But he tried very hard pretending that he did.
This is the kind of restaurants targeted at the gullible ones who thought they're the connoisseurs of Japanese cuisines...but in effect, NOT!
(PS...Tells you something about my friend who recommended this place...maybe I should make some new friends altogether!)
