HARD TO FIND... the taxi will drop you off at a ‘T’ intersection and you must walk up the road about a block to get to Amico... there are so many lost people looking for it that the locals know what you are looking for. HARD TO FIND... the taxi will drop you off at a ‘T’ intersection and you must walk up the road about a block to get to Amico... there are so many lost people looking for it that the locals know what you are looking for. Not the best neighborhood for a high end place but worth the effort... on the seventh floor at the top of the hill. Get the name in Chinese from your hotel.... Apparently a group of people from a high end place opened this up and did a good job... looks better in person than on internet. Well appointed restaurant and a good - if expensive - wine list. Service was exceptional... A waiter
waited on us and did a superb job. My appetizer was good, my wife’s cheese and tomato was better. She had the veal Milanese and thought it was great..More of a ‘Wienerschnitzel’ to me. But anyway. I had the sea bass and was more on the very good side. Bread was good... warmed with a garlic brush. They had music later in the evening. I don’t think they will make it but give it a try... it is that four dollar sign price. But cheaper and better than the Italian in the Shangri-La hotel. The ice cream was good and the lemon cello was also a treat... they were very good to us.
