La Mensa Grill & Bar is a lovely dining place in Kai Tak where you can hardly find similar offers around the neighborhood. Though it’s a bit off the CBD, it’s definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a tranquil, cozy place to chill out. Love the menu. For the main, we went for the king prawn & baby asparagus risotto. It’s a risky pick because risotto is a simple dish yet difficult to master. A minute overcook can end up in a mush! What is offered in La Mensa is simply amazing. Creamy. Refreshing. Quality ingredients. So flavorful that you could consume the whole plate in a blink of an eye.
Regrettably, no room for dessert this time but leaves me with an excuse to revisit. Surely, it’s not a restaurant that any foodie should miss out!
