Went last night with a friend who found it on OpenRice. Close to where we were later going to a school concert. Very anonymous stairwell led to elevators taking us to the correct floor. The door has the name on the outside, so we knew we were at the right place. But the door was locked. Rang the bell, no reaction. Knocked on the door, no reaction. So dissapointed as we had looked forward to eating here, and could hear voices inside. Knocked again and this time they heard it and opened. We must h
Restaurant is small but very nicely decorated. Mirrors on entire end wall gives bigger impression. Nice view if sitting at the windows over the basket and soccor courts and the skyline.
Service was very friendly and attentive (we were the only ones in the restaurant) and raised our expectations for a good experience. Menu looked good and we settled for the HKD185 set for two, which had a cold and a warm starter, a main course and two drinks.
Starters and drinks came very fast and as soon as one thing was finished the next one arrived, but in a friendly and not pushy way.
Cold starter was hummus with bread, more bread was offered and happily accepted. Warm starter was fried eggplant. There was a soup also. All three very tasty and delicious.
The main was mutton shawarma. Also very tasty and delicious.
I had hot green tea with melissa during the meal, my friend arabian coffee after.
We looked at the desserts meny but both felt satisfyingly full.
We are going to the same area again tonight and seriously consider going back to the same restaurant :-D And even if we do not go tonight, we will be back again soon.
The decor, friendly and timely service, the view, very good food and a very reasonably price makes this not just extremely good value for the money but a very good dining experience in general.

No alcoholic drinks on the menu. Full disclosure: I don't cook much, so I'm easy to impress ;-)
