It was a friend's birthday and after dinner we went here to try their cakes because we didn't want a whole cake...We were planning to get three, the death by chocolate, mille-feuille and this other banana one. In the end we decided with the death by chocolate and strawberry mille-feuille.We shared the chocolate cake first. On top were three tiny cubes of truffle. The shiny coating was a lovely thin layer of chocolate ganache, then inside was a rich chocolate mouse with a harder chocolate center

We shared the chocolate cake first. On top were three tiny cubes of truffle. The shiny coating was a lovely thin layer of chocolate ganache, then inside was a rich chocolate mouse with a harder chocolate center. The whole thing was rich and delicious but half the cake was enough.
Next was the strawberry mille-feuille. This dessert was composed of layers of pastry and a very thin layer of chocolate spread on the pastry on top and bottom, and the middle was fresh sliced strawberries and a vanilla mousse filling. This in contrast was very light and the strawberries were very fresh.
