I have previously tried this restaurant at Causeway Bay but sadly that location is now closed down. Since my mom loves waffle, I have always wanted to bring her to try La Postre. This restaurant is not just any waffle place but it serves mochi waffle which is quite special to me. I came for the dessert at tea time but I did not order the tea set. I ordered three waffles to share and had a cup of americano; the waffles included the matcha mochi waffle, mixed fruit mochi waffle and the blueberry p
After eating the mochi waffle, I felt that the normal waffle was quite plain and I preferred the mochi waffle much more, it was just more chewy and had a better texture overall. The total of the meal was around $370 with the 10% discount promotion and I thought it was a good meal and a great place to chill and treat yourself.
