Immediately after our first lunch in Tai Wai we walk passed this place and the waffles caught my attention, I thought what the heck how many times do I come to Tai Wai and decided to head in for an early Tea. We ordered an Earl Grey Waffle with Ice Cream and a Matcha 🍵 Waffle with Ice Cream. Drinks we ordered a Cold Brew and a Latte. Drinks arrived first, and the Cold Brew was ice cold, but nothing spectacular and sort of tasted like Vietnamese drip coffee, probably not worth the $50 price tag

Drinks arrived first, and the Cold Brew was ice cold, but nothing spectacular and sort of tasted like Vietnamese drip coffee, probably not worth the $50 price tag. The Latte was nicely presented, smooth and strong coffee flavor, but with a hint of burnt coffee beans which slightly ruined the coffee.
The Earl Grey Waffle arrived first and was accompanied by roasted pineapple 🍍🤔. Now the ice cream, which was Earl Grey flavor was absolutely amazing because it had a very strong earl grey flavor, I’ve never had any Earl Grey flavored food as strong as the ice cream here. The grilled pineapple which had its natural sugars caramelized went well with the ice cream. The waffle was beautifully made and was so crispy.
The Matcha Waffle 🧇 had a green tea flavor and again was crispy, the green tea ice cream was normal nothing spectacular and came with mochi and red beans. It was also very good, but I thought the Earl Grey Waffle was better!
Service is good, coffee is good but the Waffles are amazing!
