We randomly went there for breakfast on the Easter public holiday . I ordered from the menu a smoked salmon eggs Benedict ($128) and my friend ordered an egg croissant ($78). At the bottom of the menu, it included: regular coffee or pot of tea or fresh orange or apple juice. Therefore, we both asked for the apple juice but the waitress said there is no fresh apple juice, so we decide to have the fresh orange juice! The food and the juice are average in portion and taste. The food and the juice are average in portion and taste. We did not expect too much with this price. When I asked for the bill, we were charged an EXTRA $100 for the orange juice!!!!!
I asked the manager why are we charged and they answered professionally that the drink is included only for the breakfast set ($138), which is also written at the bottom of the menu.
With this "EXTRA" drink cost, my breakfast was even more expensive than the breakfast set. Furthermore, when the waitress informed us there is no fresh apple juice, she did not warm and remind us this "extra" drink is charge separately!!
I just think this menu is used to trick tourists!!! I hope no one will fall into this trap again!!
