This restaurant used to be so authentic; quiet atmosphere, very home-y fulfilling meals, smokey tea. Unfortnately, they changed hands a few months ago and things are not the same anymore.My favourite used to be the creamy potato that came with the salad and meal. They have stopped this accompaniment and I am more than dissapoointed. This combination of the rice, meat with sauce, salad and potato was so simple but tasty and now they've taken away one of the sides it feels like something is missi
My favourite used to be the creamy potato that came with the salad and meal. They have stopped this accompaniment and I am more than dissapoointed. This combination of the rice, meat with sauce, salad and potato was so simple but tasty and now they've taken away one of the sides it feels like something is missing. The miso soup is also a little salty compared to before.
The overall experience has changed the most, as it is now a noisy restaurant. Like a HK cha chen teng, they will shout across the room to their collegue 'mai daan' or 'table 1, coke'. whereas before it was a very cosy, intimate place where customers were quiet and had their own personal space.
