The cafe has nice decor but that's about it. Food was ok but service was a huge let-down. First bad impression: they served us with tea with paper cups (which they never bothered refilling). I understand they are a new cafe so maybe they didn't have proper cups? But that makes no sense because they had all other cutlery. Worst of all was the slow service. Worst of all was the slow service. We ordered the lobster bisque crab meat pasta and the spaghetti Bolognese. Crab pasta ($198) took forever to come. After I finished eating the crab pasta, my partner's Bolognese still had not arrived. Waiters were inexperienced and had no idea what they were doing. At this price range (over $200 for a pasta including 10% service charge) the service is just unacceptable.
It seems that they cook and serve all the same dishes at the same time so if you were lucky enough to order the same dish as someone else then you might be getting your food earlier.
Waste of time and money. No idea why this place has positive reviews.
