Randomly find this restaurant on IG and it's in the Black series summer tour. Do understand that the restaurant is in Japanese bar style, however, the background music is WAY TOO LOUD! It’s just annoying and uncomfortable and we can barely talk! We are surprised that the restaurantmanager didn’t even realize it. The food is fine. We tried the Black Series Special dinner menu. The food is fine. We tried the Black Series Special dinner menu.
For Raw, they serve Beef Tartar and Sushi Taco. Sushi Taco is impressive! They put sushi rice and sashimi in the Taco. Sashimi are fresh and tasty; the wasabi mayo is a good match with the taco.
Drunken clams – we all agree that this dish is a bit hard to explain, not in a bad way. Just that we seldom have this kind of taste. It’s a bit sweet, but you can tell it's not sweet from sugar. And after we read the menu, we guess that’s because of Umesh!
Besides, we also ordered salted caramel sweet corn. This is a must-have! The outer layer is crispy and the salted caramel is taste just right!
In general, the food is fine. But again, the background music is TOO LOUD! If you’re looking for a place to chat, this is not the one. Another problem is that they only have 1hr 45 min to dine (even on weekdays!), but we’re not sure if this restriction only applies to Black Series Summer Tour.
