Came here with boyfriend for he was shocked I didn't like this place. I did admit I only tried it once and it was for the fishballs. He said it's because I didn't try their signature fish stick. We noticed that there was a tea set price for noodles that included two fishballs, two beefballs and their signature fried fish stick for $19. Added $5 for a cold drink. It's a popular chain restaurant that serves noodles. You can choose what you want on them. They do have an English menu but they never seem to know what you're saying. At least when I order.
But pretty cheap was also pretty bad. Rice noodles were mushy. Fishballs tasted like flour with no fish flavor. Beef ball didn't taste like beef. Fried fish stick tasted like msg. So much msg, my teeth felt numb from it. I don't even know why boyfriend drank the msg soup as it was just disgusting watery msg. And to make things worse, the ice lemon tea tasted like water. Though, yes, size was big but it was pretty weak flavored water.
Portions are large. Prices are cheap. Taste is bad. But then this is basically like the noodle version of McDonald's so I should lower my expectations. Won't be back unless stuck with no where to eat.
