It had a general Vietnamese decor. There weren't a lot of people at night but there were enough to not feel empty.

They offered a hot pot set that was very inexpensive. They also had a la cart as well with lots of varying Vietnamese dishes.

The staff told us that the best bargain could be found in these sets as it included a drink and price was cheaper.  We appreciated the honesty of the staff! Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge.  This menu also had snacks for a reasonable price. Drinks could be upgraded as well.

Being in Central, we're used to small portions so we shared two snacks. This is the Prawn Crackers with Pork ($21). There were four of them. The prawn crackers were nice and crispy. The pork (though cold) had so much flavor. It went well with the savory prawn crackers.

The other snack was spring rolls ($25). There were four of them and included lettuce. The spring rolls were crunchy and not too oily. They were filled with minced pork and vermicelli. They were pretty good.

Boyfriend ordered the Rice with Chicken Fillet and Lemongrass Pork Chop ($75). We had no idea it was so big! Whenever places offer two different meats on a plate, they are usually half portions of each. It appeared to be two full portions! Even the portion of rice was a lot! Even boyfriend couldn't finish it all! The chicken was a bit on the spicy side as it was marinaded in fish sauce but the meat ... moist and juicy. The lemongrass pork chop was well seasoned and moist as well.

I had the Locomotive Pho ($78). It said the portion was for one but when it arrived, my jaw dropped. It was huge. And it wasn't just the bowl was huge. There was a lot of noodle and tons of stuff inside. Beef strips, beef brisket, tendon, tripe, beef balls.  The tendon was soft and tender. The balls were firm and had a lot of beef taste. The brisket was so tender, it fell apart. The noodles were thin and smooth. But what about the soup? Fairly decent with a rich beef flavor. This was pretty decent.

We didn't expect portions to be so large! In the middle of Central, it's quite hard to find. Food was good as well. Definitely be back!
