A friend of mine was eager to try this place because she read it in some kind of magazine.So three of us decided to try at a Friday night.The outside of the restaurant is not fancy but when you come in to the second floor, it is pretty nice. Not very crowed as some other places. It is very traditional Chinese decor with some Chinese art work and celebrity photos hang on the dark wall. It is very traditional Chinese decor with some Chinese art work and celebrity photos hang on the dark wall. It even has a calligraphy piece from a famous Taiwan politician.
Friend ordered some popular dishes mentioned in the magazine. We were very pleased with all of them. The flavors are rich yet not overpowering the ingredients’ natural tastes. The only issue I had is they carry a famous dish called deep fried stinky tofu. Quite a few tables ordered that. So the whole restaurant smells funny. I guess you have to put up with that for the delicious food you have.
It is a place I will definitely come back again. There are more dishes would like to try :-)
