A very cool Welcome Drink, that the bartender offer to us, it tasted a bit sweet but not too over. With a touch of bitter end. After asking the waiter, they told us it was mix with several ingredients. It got vodka, orange juice and soda water, with the slide of dry orange slide. I would definitely drink more than one for that drink. Gls Castello ToscanaIGT Italy and Gls Lawson's Dry Hills SB was essentially white and red wine that they offer for us while eating different meal. They serve with red first then after that was white wine for the roasted chicken.
Before the meal start, they serve this warm bread that kitchen will slight toasted it. So when it serve to you was warm and fluffy, and they do refill for you if you request for another serve. Mixed it with the olive oil and vinegar just made the bread taste even better.
The stater was Beef Carpaccio w/B. Truffle, which was raw beef serve with slide of black truffle. It taste sweet for me, the smell of black truffle was extraordinary. You can smell it when they serve to you.
French Escargot was baked with olive oil inside, so when we eat it, it won’t taste too dry or bland. 6 escargot for 2 persons, was way more than enough. I did not taste any bad taste when I eat it, and it won’t be too chewy like rubber. Overall, I quite like this dish.
Crab & Tomato Soup
You can literally see the crab meat on top of the tomato soup, it not like the ordinary tomato soup, it taste more like a mild favour tomato soup with the mixed of herb. You could dip it with the bread they serve, it work very well.
Roast Chicken w/Black Truffle was the main course for us, before it chop into pieces, waiter will took out for us for picture session. Had to said it does not look very presentable, but hey don’t judge the book by it cover. The taste was remarkable, it was slow oven with the black truffle, so you could smell the truffle from the chicken. I had to give the chef a very big credit for the side dish at the bottom. The potato was one of the best that I gotten by far. It absorbs the chicken fat and truffle oil, just make it so flavourful. The chicken was still juicy after being slow oven, even the chicken breast was taste like thighs.
The dessert was Lemon Gelato w/White Chocolate, it definitely a instagrammed dish. The white chocolate ball will melt over mango-lemon custard once you pour on top. It won’t taste too sweet. A big recommend for this dessert.
Overall the dining experience was exceptional.the waiter provide a on point service, won’t be too aggressive and leave us a private space. Would return for next occasion.
