Had the most horrible cake shopping experience at The Cakery.1) Rude and intimidating customer service2) WRONG cake order: put my address on the chocolate tag instead of the birthday message. Staff claimed it was an understandable mistake as the cake order form had the message column close to the address column.I would much rather buy from Maxim. 1) Rude and intimidating customer service
2) WRONG cake order: put my address on the chocolate tag instead of the birthday message.
Staff claimed it was an understandable mistake as the cake order form had the message column close to the address column.
I would much rather buy from Maxim.
LAUGHABLE mistake.
3)Cake sent to the WRONG address: intended for pick up at store, it was eventually sent to another address.
4) RUDE AND UNHELPFUL staffs when dealing with their order mistake: refusal to own up to their mistakes, called the customer a trouble maker
5) when I asked for a refund, Staff accused me for wanting to earn something extra from them, when it was clearly their mistake.
6) when asked about the availability of other cakes in store for an urgent cake replacement for the dinner event, staff claimed their cakes are “expensive” unlike the one I bought which is “cheap”, hence those are unlikely suitable for me.
Sincerely advise everyone to never to make the same mistake as I did.
