I normally never leave reviews for restaurants unless its amazing or if it is just that bad. Since i miss eating Chipotle, Qdoba and good mexican food I found this place, the pictures looked nice, also i read the paid reviews praised it as well, so thought it was worth a try. unfortunetly I was wrong, i ordered the supereme chicken burrito for 99 HKD, and it was just terrible! Since i miss eating Chipotle, Qdoba and good mexican food I found this place, the pictures looked nice, also i read the paid reviews praised it as well, so thought it was worth a try.
unfortunetly I was wrong, i ordered the supereme chicken burrito for 99 HKD, and it was just terrible! It had no taste it was essentially just a guacamole and sourcream rice wrap, asside from the occational crunch of a piece of iceburg lettecue it was all mush. great mexican food tastes fresh, spicy(as in has good flavors), cheesy/savory, ok mexican food gets one of those things right, this place just has a sourcream rice wrap.
Another thing that bothered me was the price, I have no problem with paying money for quality food, but after paying 100 HKD for a sourcream rice wrap I felt kinda screwed. I know it's central and the rent is high, but at the same time is this is CENTRAL the food should be good.
Another thing that surprised me was after i ordered my burrito from the Taco Truck I took by bill to the front to pay there is a 10% service charge making the sourcream rice wrap 110 dollars. The waitress said that in central there is aparently a service charge at all food stalls, but this is not true. When I walk into a nice restaurant and get the full "service" that you'd expect from a fancy restaurant i dont find paying a service charge. Problem is this place doesn't even meet the service standards you would expect at a Dennys and there it's not mandatory.
So I would advice you avoid this place, it survives on naive travelers like me, I doubt this place has any returning customers.
