Sunday, we have made appointment for 1900 but arrived at 1840. they allowed us to get in, there weren't many ppl anyway. for the regular price $148 (mon to thu) and $158 (fri to sun), you are allowed to have all you can eat for 2 hours. if you pay extra $20 each person, it will be unlimited time. we decided not to do so since 2 hours was enough we thought. we ordered several rounds of food. and they came exactly what we ordered (the quantity was correct as well!!!). the pace was good. and they
we ordered several rounds of food. and they came exactly what we ordered (the quantity was correct as well!!!). the pace was good. and they collected our empty dishes quick. drinks were free. they have varies of coke, coffee and beer. but i like none of them. they served me tea and filled my cup when i asked. so the service was ok. (i never really expect there will be smiling faces on waiter/ress so i will say they are ok, not great if you expect more. but none of them had black faces. can you ask for more?)
one thing i notice was that the fired food (e.g. tempura) took quite some time to be ready. other food usually arrived like within 5 mins you ordered. it was quite out of my expectation to all you can eat restaurant! it's worth a smiling face! my friends say probably we weren't eating at peak hours that was why the service level was so high. i dunno. but for this experience i will come again and recommend to my family and friends for sure!
let's talk about the food now. due to limitation i can upload only 8 pics.
free uni for 4 ppl or up. i am entrance level of japanese raw food so i didn't try it. my friend said it was very good.
it was called seafood salad if i got that right. it's not just salmon but with some octopus. the source was quite sour but it was all at the bottom. so the veggie didn't get soaked in it. quite refreshing.
for me it's like the best out of all. it's tempura shrimp rolls and tempura crab rolls. one of my friends who is sushi-only person, actually liked it too. 2 thumbs up for this!
the shell in sake. sake... my friend said it's perfectly fine to get no taste of sake coz during the cooking it was steamed away (boiling pt) but... i dont know, it just tasted like it was boiled with water. no 2nd round for this dish.
guys loved this! i didn't try so i can't comment. goose liver.
i bet many ppl would rather have sashimi over this but i actually like the rice a lot so i always ordered sushi. hahaha.
tempuras. yam and pumpkin were good. the shrimp though, tasted kinda sad. we all agreed to have tempura shrimp rolls instead!
ice cream each person is allowed to order only once. it was quite perplexing since it's like $10 for 3 in 7-11 so what the hell? well i guess there was no point to order more than 1 anyway (or maybe just because i wan't icecream lover) choices are black sesame, red bean and chocolate. nothing special. for dessert though, they have mousse and stuff at self served bar. tasted ok.many others, can't post all of them. one other great dish was the pan fried beef cube with garlic. even i didn't like meat i tried few bites!
despite the fact that there was no line up, 2 hours later the manager came to us with the bill. we paid, and we sat there to finish our drinks. he came again and said to us time was up. so if you are looking for a nice long gathering with group of friends (birthday party etc.), you might wanna pay that extrac 20 bucks. just for the eating though, 2 hours is more than enough. i wouldn't blame the manger for that coz rule is rule; even though he saw us all packed up and were about to leave but the coffee was still on my hand drinking half of it...
